For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the names “Nachdi Jawani Melanie” and “Nachdi Jawani” are used interchangeably and refer to the same legal business entity.
The website may be used solely for lawful purposes. You agree not to use it in any manner that interferes with its operation, security, or accessibility.
Nachdi Jawani provides dance instruction, training programs, rehearsals, performances, and related services. All services are subject to availability and may be modified or discontinued at the studio’s discretion.
Participants or legal guardians must disclose relevant medical conditions at registration and comply with all studio rules. Responsibility for conduct and property damage rests with the participant or guardian.
Participation involves inherent risks. You voluntarily assume all risks and release Nachdi Jawani (Melanie, Dixie) from liability for injury, illness, or property loss occurring before, during, or after participation.
You grant permission for photographs and videos taken during classes or events to be used for promotional purposes without identifying information.
Official communications will be provided electronically. It is your responsibility to review all updates.
The academy is closed during long weekends, Inter-Academy competitions, and Malton Nagar Kirtan. Fees remain payable during closures.
A non-refundable registration fee of $20 per person is required. Fees are subject to change.
Cash payments are not accepted. Memberships are billed monthly via approved electronic payment methods. Payments are processed on the 1st of each month. NSF payments incur a $30 fee. All payments are non-refundable.
If you cancel within the first 7 days of the month, the cancellation will be processed at the end of the same month. However, if you cancel after that time, the cancellation will be effective the following month.
Team: Approved holds are charged at fifty percent (50%) of the regular monthly fee. Full fees resume automatically after the hold period expires.
Regular Class: A monthly holding fee of $10 applies for placing a regular class on hold. Classes may be held for a maximum of two (2) months. Upon completion of the holding period, the regular monthly fees will automatically resume.
1.5-hour class: $80 + HST per month. 1-hour class: $70 + HST per month.
A non-refundable $250 dress service fee applies to team members for a two-year term.
If a member cancels their membership within two (2) years, all benefits including free dress rental and related services will be cancelled immediately. These benefits will no longer be available.
If the member decides to join again in the future, previous payments will not be considered. The member must register again as a new member and pay all applicable fees, including the dress fee, as per current terms.
Weekly attendance is mandatory. No refunds, credits, or make-up classes are provided for missed sessions.
Respectful behavior is required. Videography is prohibited. The studio is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
All content is the exclusive property of Nachdi Jawani and may not be reproduced without written authorization.
These Terms may be amended at any time. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
